This guidebook is over 100 pages of recommendations, tips, tricks, suggestions, & advice on traveling in (& out of!) Rome. Perfect for any adventurous traveler who is eager to get off the beaten path and see more than the Pantheon, Colosseum, and Trevi Fountain.
The second is an entirely different free bonus guidebook catered towards your kids - maps, scavenger hunts, kid friendly facts - various items to help them explore Rome. I loved traveling when I was younger, but I know it can be exhausting, especially with the long lines and the heat. The teacher in me, couldn’t pass up the opportunity to include a guidebook specifically for the kids who come to visit the Eternal City.
I moved to Rome two years ago, and of course, since I’m not from here, I was thrilled to do all the “touristy” things at first. Since moving, I have explored, walked, eaten, and walked some more throughout Rome. While you’d definitely have to live in Rome for over a couple decades (at least!) to truly feel like you’ve done “it all” - I now have a profound knowledge of the city, its layout, local recommendations, & things to see and do that don’t involve the Colosseum or the Trevi Fountain.
Since moving here, I have helped numerous people plan their trips, and hosted even more. I decided to write this guide book as a way to condense all that I’ve learned into one place.
